Under the expert guidance of Charles Miano, you’ll be sketching amidst some of Italy’s most iconic and breathtaking sites. From the grandeur of Florence’s cathedral squares to the timeless elegance of Roman landmarks, each location becomes your open-air studio. Join Charles as he leads you through a journey of artistic discovery, capturing the essence of these grand masterpieces with every stroke of your pencil.
Sites include:
Week 1- Florence
The Uffizi Galleries, Florence
The Duomo
The Palazzo Pitti
The Palazzo Vecchio
The Accademia Gallery
The Bargello Museum
Week 2- Rome
The Vatican Museums
The Sistine Chapel
The Borghese Gallery
The Colosseum
The Caravaggio Experience: Discover the dramatic chiaroscuro of Caravaggio’s masterpieces and sketch in the spirit of the Baroque master himself.
The academy is arranging tours and itinerary. A sketchbook and pencils will be needed.
Price for Touring and Sketching with Charles and Apprentices:
For one week (Florence or Rome)- $500
Two week discount (Florence and Rome)- $850
There is limited availability.
Travel and accommodations are not included; however, we have a few rooms still available we can arrange with our group.
