Celebrating 20 Years !

For twenty years, Miano Academy of Art has carried forward an idea both simple and increasingly rare: that the knowledge of drawing and painting is worth preserving and passing from one generation of artists to another.

In February, Dance of Light will become the setting for a milestone in that story as we gather to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Miano Academy of Art.

The evening will honor two decades of artists, apprentices, teachers, patrons, friends, and supporters who have helped build and sustain the Academy and its mission.

Surrounded by the work of its artists, the celebration will look both backward and forward: honoring the traditions we have inherited while celebrating the artists who will carry them into the future.
